Description of Work: The renovation of an existing meeting room and demolition of the existing framing and finishes to the structure. Metal stud frame ceiling and walls, sheeted with Fire Treated plywood to accommodate new millwork. Obtained Variance from Pikes Peak Regional Building Department for the installation of a gas-burning, vent-less fireplace. The exiting flue did not meet mechanical code or unit manufacturer requirements. Installed new mechanical venting and exhaust, and gas piping with carbon monoxide detection auto shut-off. Coordinated Millwork subcontractor with Beckrich subcontractors to meet building inspections and completion date. All work completed to accommodate The Broadmoor’s schedule for the Main Ballroom and guest room occupants.
