Description of Work: Fully replace the roofs on Building 4, Building 5, Building 21, Building 25, and Building 24 at NIST. Partially replace the roof at the Building 1 library, and Building 2. Replace skylights on Building 2 and Building 25. Remove abandoned equipment, replacement of one roof top unit, relocation of misc. exhaust fans. Procure and install two new exhaust fans. Replace, install and certify lightning protection. Install new primary and secondary roof drains, gutters and down spouts along with snow stops. This work will include TPO roofing, spray foam roofing, lightning protection, electrical, mechanical and controls.

Description of Work: Provide all parts, labor, equipment and materials to install security and safety devices on doors and windows to comply with current standards on the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) site. There are approximately 871 windows requiring safety upgrades, 8 doors with entry keypads requiring exit keypads, 62 panic bars, 49 door alarms and 50 door closers to be installed. Adding an additional 8 exit keypads on existing doors with entry keypads.
Relocation of Distance Learning Laboratory

Description of Work: Move and relocate the distance learning laboratory from Building 1117 to Building 2422. This project entailed relocating three Video Teleconference (VTC) computer class rooms from B1117 to B2422. B2422 needed to be reconfigured with power and internet drops to support VTC capability, 17 computers for each class room, two printers, two overhead projectors with wall screens, a new split unit for the building, new ductwork, registers and grills along with phones. This work included demo, electrical work, comm work, mechanical work, architectural work, flooring, and fire alarm.
NIST Building 81 Air Handler Installation

Description of Work: Provide all labor, equipment and materials to add an additional air handler to Building 81 Mechanical Room. The work will include the addition of a chilled water air handling unit, concrete work, electrical connections, mechanical controls, testing, balancing and startup, along with fire alarm connections. All work will be scheduled so as to not affect the occupants and scientists that work in the area.
